George Barris, pioneer of Barris Kustom Industries, was possibly the primary voice for the early custom made vehicle growth, with his line of over-the-top designs, including the famed Batmobile, created from the 1955 Lincoln Futura concept vehicle for the 1966 through 1968 “Batman” Tv series.
